By Bowen Johnson

Girls’ lacrosse is not always a sport one hears a lot about, but that will surely change soon with Berkeley High School’s great talent in the sport. Although it has been overlooked a lot over the past few years because of its struggle to post a winning record, lacrosse is on the rise at BHS. In the 2010–2011 season, the team went 10–10 overall and 5–5 in league play. When a sport is on its way up, the records appear to jump. This was the case for this team, as they went 13–7 and 10–2 in league play the following year.
