Athlete Profile: Taleen Shekerjian

Taleen Shekerjian first started playing soccer when she was five years old and has never looked back. Taleen has played on the varsity soccer team since she was a sophomore, and has been honored as second-team all league for two straight years. In her final year, she was elected captain by her fellow teammates.

Throughout her life, soccer has been extremely influential to Taleen. “It’s helped me develop as a soccer player, and as a student,” Taleen notes. “The BHS soccer team is a separate family.” Taleen also wants to play soccer beyond high school, stating, “I definitely want to play in college.” She currently does not know whether she will join a club team or the varsity squad, but says she is looking into the University of Colorado and Cal Poly.
