Athlete Profile: Jalil Eppenger

Of the many words used to describe Jalil Eppenger, “hilarious” and “charismatic” are two that often come to mind. Of course, “athletic” and “ridiculously good at basketball” also fit quite well too. Jalil has been on the varsity boy’s basketball team since his sophomore year, but has been playing in the basketball program since ninth grade. Now in his senior year, Eppenger has continued on his path towards stardom and is fielding scholarship offers from UC Davis, Cal Poly, University of San Diego and the University of San Francisco. At this point, Eppenger is leaning towards the University of San Diego. The stakes are very high for Jalil this season; his number offers could increase or decrease depending on how he plays this season. With Berkeley High off to a great 7-0 start, Jalil’s prospects are looking up.
