Bryan Farb

Hopefully all of you have recovered from, or at least survived, last night’s Blowout party hosted by the one and only, Bryan Farb. Hopefully, most of you got to experience at least one party thrown by Bryan during your high school years, because that guy can throw a party.

However, as many of you know, there is much more to Bryan than the party–throwing, school spirited reputation he earned over the past few years. First off, he’s smart. Like, really smart. He can talk circles around most people and has never lost a debate. During his time at Berkeley High School, not only did he excel in the classroom, but he also played baseball, was the president of the Berkeley delegation of Youth and Government for two years, and was the president of BBQ Club. He was the first one to start chanting “One Oh!” or “Jackets!” at various school rallies and sporting events, and once he started, there was no stopping him. On the baseball team, he was a star pitcher and acted as a team leader on and off the field. His motivational speeches always had enough cuss words to inspire the team, but not too many as to completely disgust the spectators. Bryan also plans on being the first person ever to play, umpire, and manage at the Major League level.

If you were ever lucky enough to have a class with Bryan, you got to see him at his best. He always kept things interesting by voicing unique opinions and often shining a new and interesting light on different subjects.
Bryan’s main goal in high school was to, as he says, “Serve the people’s interests and have a good time doing it.” His main ambition is to help people. He is the kind of person who wants the best for everyone and is willing to take a stand for what he believes in. In the future, he intends to go into politics. “For me, politics seems to be the best avenue for me to help people. I really want to unleash the beast, if you know what I mean,” explained Bryan.
However, before he jumps into public service, Farb is attending Trinity College in Connecticut. There, he plans to major in Political Science and try out for the baseball team. We thank Bryan, for always having the best of intentions and a never–failing charisma that was there for the class of 2010 throughout the good and the bad times.
